Translation of the long poem zone of the neutral pressure of the Writer of the City of Graz 20/21 Jana Radičević from Montenegrin into German language. The project was done in collaboration with the translator Bernhard Unterer and supported by the City of Graz and Kulturvermittlung Steiermark and published by Edition Thanhäuser in 2022.
Translation project from German into Montenegrin language organized by Department for German Language and Literature at the University of Montenegro: Discussion and reading by author Karin Peschka as a part of SchreibART programme managed by the Austrian society for literature. DAAD translation project from Montenegrin into German language. The final versions of the translations were made together with students of Slavistics department at the University of Jena in translation workshop that took place in 2019 in Tivat. The translations were published in Austrian literature magazine from Austria as a part of the project K/Eine Utopie(n) mehr? Ein Forum für junge, engagierte Literatur.

About
Lejla pursued her Master’s Degree at the University of Würzburg at the Department for German and Intercultural Studies, and at the Department for European Ethnology. Her enthusiasm and commitment are dedicated to translation, especially literary translation, with a particular emphasis on poetry.
She works at the Centre for Academic Education and Teaching at the University of Würzburg. Alongside that, she teaches German as a foreign language at various educational institutions and volunteers as an interpreter at a welfare association.
Originally from Bar in Montenegro, she studied German studies in Nikšić, Berlin, Vienna and Würzburg, works in Würzburg, where she is now based. She loves books, history and long talks about the best translation solutions.
